André Nogueira is an associate researcher and instructor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His research focuses on choice-making in complex spaces of innovation, and sustainable solutions for socio-ecological-technical challenges. He currently leads projects under the umbrella of “cities for well-being” that examine complex issues at the intersection of public health and design. He has previously worked on projects related to organization design, business development, sustainable development, urban planning and design, and architecture, in Brazil, Mexico and United States. André holds a PhD in Design from the IIT-Institute of Design, Chicago, a MS degree in Contemporary Urban Planning and Design (UPM), a Master’s degree in Geography, Cities, and Architecture (Escola da Cidade), and a dual major BS in Architecture and Urban Design (UPM), in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
